Davis Marketing is a private Company formed in 1987. Ian Davis was later engaged to open the Queensland office of one of the first computer hardware importer distributors in Australia, Allaw Technologies, after their local sales agent, Australian Micro Data Storage, successfully brought the Allaw name into prominence.

Since then Ian Davis has been charged with the running of the computer hardware sales sections of several Queensland branches of national companies including Elmeasco, Nilsen Computer Technologies and Anabelle Bits.

The Company, Davis Marketing, was registered as a business in 1988 (BN331470), became a G.I.T.C. signatory in April 1996 (# Q-343) and also obtained Quality Assurance in 1996 (# 4662, now a Self Assessed agreement). The Company ABN is 12 559 861 231.

Davis Marketing is now the sole distributor of the Queensland engineered Disc Devil "direct to disc" colour CD/DVD printer, a primary supplier to Government, Reseller and Multimedia outlets of Primera Signature, Bravo and Composer products, Rimage desktop publishing , Verity Systems robotic media management solutions, Lynx and HP magnetic media storage solutions and Verbatim CD, DVD and tape media products, Pretec and Carry digital media solutions.
